We don't need you, bruh. Go cheer for the team in Ames.No excuse for the rebounding. Cost them the final four. They played tough and had a great run. So pissed to lose that way though since rebounding should never be that lopsided.
Time to extend ben and give him a huge raise to keep circling sharks away.
Great run. Love ya Hawks and congrats.
You obviously have not been looking at Illinois' size and rebounding all season. That was my concern going into the game.No excuse for the rebounding. Cost them the final four. They played tough and had a great run. So pissed to lose that way though since rebounding should never be that lopsided.

I started this thread and the board drunk had to start the exact same thread?
WTF, @RoseBowlorBust ???? You drunk again? Stay off the roads!
Fantastic season! Proud to be a Hawkeye. The future looks bright!!
And you just ruined your own thread, which was great until you ruined it.
Rebounds and points in the paint was the killer.
The future has their backs to us. Thompson, Sage and Koch. A freshman and two sophs next year.
Bennett Stirtz has earned a place as one of my, and many others I'm sure, favorite IA Hawks hoops players ever in just one season!I didn’t expect to get this attached to a team in the NIL/portal era like I did. I figured when guys have been here since their freshman year, they would just feel more like true Hawkeyes to me. But I love this team and I’ll never forget them. Hopefully the ones with eligibility are here until it’s used up.
Bennett Stirtz is one I’m really going to miss—not just for his play, but the way he carries himself. You don’t see too many guys, or gals for that matter, with that kind of humility and quiet confidence anymore. Wish we could have him for at least another year. He exemplifies everything it means to be a Hawkeye. Forever grateful for this team, and thankful Bennett chose to be a Hawkeye for his one year in D1.
I don't agree with this, they'll leave regardless if they want to. They have to want to stay, i think BM does.Time to extend ben and give him a huge raise to keep circling sharks away.
It’s not binary. Nothing is. Sweeten the pot and make the buyout more painful. In any event, he’s earned it, imho.I don't agree with this, they'll leave regardless if they want to. They have to want to stay, i think BM does.
Thanks hawks!! Helluva run!! Iowa men's BB is back!!
