The more I hear about him, the more I feel the same way. Ever since the narrative from local and national guys is that he'd rather push his commitment back than have his landing space correctly predicted, I've felt like we'd be okay without him. Pope already had a hard enough time getting the team to play together this past year. I don't trust him to match a drama addict's energy or corral him like Cal did with Boogie. We get him, great. We don't, eh. At this point, the 2026 class is a wash either way unless some coaches retire and some dudes get back on the market.
