What a ride! Iowa has a chance to make the Final Four for the first time since 1980. Unbelievable.

Illinois beat Iowa 75-69 at Carver early this year, I could see another similar type of game today.

The fighting Illini are shooting almost 40% from three in the tournament. It’s pretty obvious what he needs to do to attempt to slow them down.

Unfortunately I think the road ends for the hawks, 78-69 Illini.

I'll never forget living in Chicago in the bulls run and when bulls were up in Phoenix Finals 3-1 with game 5 in Chicago.
Businesses were boarding up windows in anticipation of a celebration.
After Suns won, Barkley was yelling at the media to tell Chicago to take down the plywood.

Hopefully Champaign will be quiet tonite.

I'm officially sick of hearing about Illinois dominance.

I don't disagree, they are looking overly solid now. But wow enough already..

So as much as I want to listen to the Hawkeyereport podcast, in the past - that one had a weird Illinois angle included which is very wtf ..to hear Illinois coverage on an Iowa site. Unless someone can confirm there no Quad Cities rule in effect with that, gonna resist..

Lol just restricting it on campus????? They think kids are stupid? Buy ahead. Go to Urbana and get it, etc etc

I feel like we all know the keys to the game, so no point beating a dead horse.

Just feels like Iowa is meant to reach the Final4 this year. I'm trying to make myself feel like Illinois is gonna win tonight and I just can't do it. Its crazy, but as somebody said in the previous game thread, this Iowa squad honestly feels like a team of density.

ILL doesn't want it to be a real tight game late - inside 2 mins left - because Iowa is thriving in that type of situation right now.

Feels like the snowball is just picking up speed.
Iowa peaking at the right time is glorious to see, which mostly goes against everything we are used to seeing under the previous administration, where it seemed like we just limped into the tournament and quickly flamed out.
I think we got this by 5-7 points and we head to the FINAL 4 BABY.
We are witnessing the birth of a golden time in Iowa BBall, Enjoy the ride boys

Today reminds me of the feeling I felt for the MSU - Iowa Big 10 Championship football game. Hope the outcome is different.

Gotta be able to score, everyone get into the flow. Rebound, limit turnovers and fouls. Need a lot to go right for us to have a chance but we are like butter, on a roll
