They did say that. Thank goodness I wasn't taking a sip then or I would have had my own beer shower. Most ridiculous statement I've heard in a long time.
it was Keith Kessinger. He's a former OM baseball player, alum, Oxford resident, and homer. He's gonna say that
I actually don't think Keith said that. I think it was his goofy play by play guy.
I remember Keith in one of his many snarky comments of the evening saying something about them being wet and cold and half of them in shorts.
I actually thought he was fine. The guy obviously knows baseball, and considering his pedigree, he could have been a way worse homer.
His partner just seemed like a nerd, and baseball challenged. I kinda enjoyed Keith being a typical OM douche and passive aggressively making fun of the guy all game long.
Yup, it was two years ago and we won the first game in that one. Need Tomas to continue his Gigantic Girodos tour and set us up for a slugfest Sunday for the sweep.
Other than 3 at bats in the 7th pitching was outstanding.
The thing is, they do have a great atmosphere there. But it’s nothing like Dudy Noble or Alex Box or a few others. But it’s easily top 10. You don’t have to look like an idiot trying to claim it’s something it’s not. Just say one of the best & let it speak for itself.
Yeah, they're pathetic. Tried to make an Ole Miss pop fly that was 50 feet short of the fence sound like it was almost a HR. Their guy hits one and Teel chases it down short of the track and then runs onto the track after he catches it and they call it a shot to the warning track.
Chance's double in the 9th that he smoked past the 3rd baseman (who was playing DP depth, to be fair) hit the bag after it was passed the 3B. They called it a weak hit that should have been a double play but it hit the bag. They actually got lucky, bc if it doesn't hit the bag, Woodson scores.
