Man, what is the deal with Davis? He's either lights out or a disaster. No in-between. Sadly, he's just not someone who's gonna clutch up, it appears.

Most OM fans left early because of cold and rain in a tight ballgame. If this game was at Dudy Noble, the place would stay packed until the end. I guess they didn’t want their penny loafers to get wet

.I don't trust him at all as the closer. I'm good if he's coming in in middle relief. I knew from ball 3 on the 1st batter this was going to be an adventure. He wasn't close in either walk.

There have been a lot of years that i would not have been confident we were gonna get that tying run in with 2nd and 3rd with no outs.
I was very confident tonight, even with a freshman at the plate.

Ben can still be valuable for sure. He has good stuff, but he makes me nervous when he comes in. No consistency. Pitzer has the swagger of a closer.
Can we talk about freaking Foster though? I just knew this game would be 8-2 by the time I could tune in. He freakin stepped up tonight. Hopefully this was him turning a corner. We need him.

Pretty unbelievable to me how pathetic that crowd was at the end of a tight game with your arch rival. They have no argument about who has the better atmosphere. Hell, we're better than that when we suck.
I need to redo it with the actual MSU Pantone but the Walmart version is all you get tonight.

Dude was the pitcher of the year in the Cape last year. That's what we've been looking for out of him. Good to see.
He was outstanding tonight. Davis was really the only rough patch and it almost cost us the game.
Any lip readers out there on this backwards k?

I thought we pitched a really good game except for one guy throwing one disastrous third of an inning. Everyone else looked as good as they have all year.
The pitching was overall pretty darn good except one third of an inning. Just 4 runs on 4 hits. Kept us in the game when the hitting wasn’t doing sh*t. Team effort. Nobody was bailed out.

I know I'm a broken record, but the beer shower is truly one of the stupidest "traditions" I've ever seen. It should be made fun of mercilessly. I'm very glad this is the **** their fans have become known for.
We'll just have to live with the best stadium, atmosphere and most knowledgeable baseball fans things.
A bunch of drunk idiots throwing beer all over each other so that they stink, and on nights like last night, freeze their azzes off. End up not being there to help their team at the end when they could use the fan support.
Pretty sure the OM announcers last night said throwing beer in their right field is THE MOST ICONIC scene in all of college baseball.
