Does he fill the spots immediately? Does he have an idea who he wants to replace these guys with? Do they have contacts with agents and recruits? Kinda feels like we’re starting over from square one. What’s the point of all this?
You jest. But I could see it. People acted like we lost 3 first rounders, this year. Even though, one was predicted to be out until Jan/Feb way back in the summer. And Lowe and Kam got us smoked against multiple teams.

This is exactly why I dont give a pass for Popes fiest year. People say "he did a good job under the circumstances"
What circumstances..no returning players? Its close to the same this time because the returning players we will have we would be better off if we could just recruit better players over them...and he will apparently have to build a new staff, so this is the same as year 1, where we finished 6th in the sec and 12 loses but thats good "under the circumstances"

Dusty May, Mark Byington, Ben McCollum, Jai Lucas, all kicking *** in their 1st or 2nd years. Pope just needs more time.
He loves the idea of running the greatest program in basketball while making millions doing it. Love for the fans or Kentucky itself? He hasn’t shown much of that, frankly.
Starting brand new in year 3 is alarming. Totally new staff in year 3. Yikes.
People think we’ve got scapegoats and Pope personally got rid of these guys and not that these guys see the writing on the wall. Either way, it makes Pope look bad. The other option is Kentucky treating Pope like a toddler who needs the right handlers to make him look good.

I feel like it’s 2012 and we had to sit by helplessly and watch Mike Leach go to Washington State because Joker Phillips deserved a third year even though everyone knew exactly how it was going to go.
They really seem to want a former player in a recruiting role. Went after Crawford, still could get Moe but I'm not sure where that stands.
I posted the other day that the people I follow and talk to spoke like Mason was already committed which seemed weird. Most of them also act like Fox is already gone, and someone has been identified as the replacement, don't see that dragging out.
