Went out to lunch a couple hours ago wearing an Iowa shirt. Had a woman around my age mention to me that she was surprised someone hasn't hit me, yet. I literally laughed at her and shook my head.
Guy I work with in Omaha told me that it was the most “Nebraska way” of losing and that they have come to just expect this. I let it go pretty much without comment but it was pretty delicious to hear.
