I’m gonna zag here.

How many P4 football programs have an assistant tight ends coach?

Every Power Four program and then some. Every assistant coach has a second in command.
Wow, thought the NCAA had limits on the number of coaches. But with all the NIL changes no rule change shocks me anymore.

The limit of coaches allowed on the road was previously set at 11 and that includes the head coach. However that just changed on March 20th, as staffs can now designate 16 coaches for off-campus spring recruiting now.

As far as assistant hiring and total assistant coaches on staff goes, there is no limit to the amount of coaches you can hire / add to your team.

High Schools have assistants to the assistants so this shouldn’t be a surprise in P 4 football.

Washington must be doing something right if he’s not one of the ones let go. May have a great future on coaching and this is a good start to that.

CatMan is an idiot and a Northwestern fan. In another thread, in multiple posts, he posted a lot of nonsense about our new AD. He should be ignored. Don't know why he continues to be allowed to post on our board.

Back to Washington, he was a fantastic receiver who unfortunately did not have many opportunities to display his talents.

High school coaches are virtually free which was part of the surprise.

Tight Ends will be key to whoever the QB ends up being. Hopefully he’ll get a couple safety valves.

Good luck to coach Washington and the TEs.
