I mean, there has got to be a happy medium between morbidly obese and Skeletor. My wife realized a couple years ago she was overweight. She started eating healthier, going to the gym to work out and running. She’s lost 90 pounds naturally and looks great. One of her friends lost about the same amount of weight with Ozympic and looks bad. Like flesh hanging off a skeleton. Ozympic is a shortcut for lazy people who aren’t willing to actually do what it takes to be healthy and want just to take a shot to lose weight. The result is that you lose muscle and end up looking like Skeletor with an oversized face.
That looks awful. But the counterargument is that this is Maggie Gyllenhaal at 48. Pretty sure most of these women wouldn't look like this if they laid off the lip filler and botox, but I can understand being scared to age naturally if this is a potential result. Looks like somebody around 60 outside of hollywood and most people in hollywood that look like this are well into their 70s
I don't think your gripe is as much with Botox than injectable fillers.

In her defense, Maggie Gyllenhaal looked like a ball sack when she was 30 too.
She definitely wasn't hollywood pretty and I assume wouldn't have made it without nepotism, but she was cute and perfectly normal looking for her age.

I'm glad my wife has not jumped on the Botox craze. Honestly I think it is because she doesn't want to spend the money.
On the other hand she has three friends that in the last year have hit the needle hard. One of them works for a health spa clinic and is always chasing some type snake oil so that is a no surprise. The other two are the typical married and a few kids. I had to ask my wife what is up with their face late last year and she told me they were on the Botox needle. Early last year she told me that both of them were not happy in their marriages and if it wasn't for the kids they would file for divorce. I just feel like most of these women are chasing some type of instant gratification especially if they are not happy in other aspects of their life.

Someone else made this comment but I’d bet it’s a super high percentage of women over 35 getting Botox and you never notice unless it was botched somehow. The effects of the Botox wear off in a few months.
My wife does a little forehead Botox every once in a while. Less is more is the way to go with that. She does some lip thing that slightly plumps them for a little while but eventually goes away. Also does a very low dose of glp-1. I’ll support that if I don’t have to listen to “I’m so fat and none of my clothes fit”.

There is a lot of mass mental illness in the USA, and particularly in the entertainment stars. Because yeah, no mentally healthy person is going to do these things to themselves.
The other thing, why can't these "stars" look at those who went before them and say, "no I think I'll pass on surgery". Either crazy or stupid, or both.

I don't need to be convinced, it's a fact. Women add Botox to their upper lip to deaden the muscle and "flip" it. They also add shìt to make them bigger. Botox paralyzes the muscle and makes shìt dangle. It's ridiculous as are fillers. Otherwise attractive women are ruining their looks to try to keep up with reality/social media trashy looks.

I feel like most men know if they make enough money it doesn't matter if they're bald.
There is a small minority of people that get sucked into an unhealthy culture around looks and aging, but it's really a small minority of people. Something like 40% of adult women in the US are obese (or at least were; not sure if GLP's have moved the needle yet). Being overly obsessed with looking good has just not been a major problem.
Those women with the big lips look like they must have burned the biscuits recently.
Never understood plugs or toupes. Doesn't look good. Just own being bald.
When women are aroused their lips become fuller and redder. Pupils dilate as well. Subconsciously women must realize this and want big lips. Same concept applies to a baboons brightly colored *** **. Both look ridiculous, but serve a purpose I guess.
My friend's wife took it, and looks like a meth head now. He told me he is struggling because she went from D boobs and a nice butt to nothing. She was a little overweight before but if she looks like someone we would claim has discovered crack 20 years ago.
This is the key. Our society is so lazy now. If you want to be healthy, you have to work and make sacrifices. I love donuts, but I noticed 6 months ago I was in my mid-30s and had an overeating problem. I have since started making better choices and working out. I gave up sweet tea and cokes. It is hard, but I feel so much better.
