Preseason number 14 in the Big 10 to top 10 in the nation! School record for wins and first Sweet 16 in school history.

And... fans are complaining. This is the exact problem with a growing portion of this fan base.

Goodness, be happy and proud!
When you get to this point of reaching the highest point in the program history has ever went, it’s disappointing when 2 of the staters who normally better shooters than 0-10 from the arch makes fans want to complain.

The shooting was disappointing by everyone not named Pryce or Braden, but it's a make or miss sport.

Iowa showed more depth and hit more shots.

Doesn't take away from the season as a whole. Simply an unfortunate ending and time to go cold.

Fun season. Now hit the portal hard, fill a couple weak spots and keep the momentum going.
I think i was “anxious” all season long cuz even though this group is probably the best assembly of guys we have had, as you point out there were weak spots. This group’s results were better than the aggregate of their parts. Great effort but at least last night it appeared to me that Iowa had better talent. 😕. What’s sad for me is that our best player is an Iowa transfer.

It’s fan nature to turn on the arch other when things go south. As usual, some had unrealistic expectations. It was miraculous to beat Vandy.

They really got cold in the second half and still had a shot to get to the Elite 8. I never even thought they would make the dance let alone get a shot like that.

Yeah, it's a drag they lost but what a helluva season they had, my hats off to all of them.

Crazy culture we live in now with college athletes who have to talk to their representatives on whether to come back or not. Boy times have changed. I’m not an NBA fan anymore. But at least they have contracts and you kinda know what to expect from them for the next season. I do miss when college coaches were about developing their teams and programs. Now it’s just find the best collection of talent to fit your philosophy. Not that that’s wrong. Just…different.

Yep this is the new world. The issue I have is like Izzo from Michigan State said. The players aren’t making the decisions anymore it’s their representatives. Parents etc. who are telling these kids what to do .
