“Early rip” + “Late”Curious about the term ERULAT which shows up so many times.
It’s because Lebby’s tempo is so fast it becomes predictable. The play call has to be simple and quick- which means it’s often the same handful of concepts run out of the same 2 maybe 3 formations- with a simple heavy reliance on RPO’s. The defense sees the formation and knows the limited menu. Lebby is more about tempo than play concept or execution.Send this to Lebby. The whole point of it all is so the defense doesn’t know what play the offense is about to run. When Lebby calls a play, the fans, the opposing team coaches & players, the opposing team fans, and the tv announcers know what play is coming.
it’s almost like Lebby’s call sheet has been handed out to every sec team before conference play starts.
You know Leach had a fake call sheet dropped at close to midfield so the opponent would find it on purpose.Send this to Lebby. I’m pretty sure ERL is trips right but LAT is lateral motion.“Early rip” + “Late”
Early = Trips to the right side.
Late = Trips to the left side.
Rip = A motion
It’s just classic Air Raid shorthand
“Late” is term for trips to the left- it’s the opposite of “Early” for trips right. “Rip” is the motion alignment tag.I’m pretty sure ERL is trips right but LAT is lateral motion.
