She’s been very quiet recently re: her support of the recent run of the men’s team….CMac maybe in her ear?
I’d hate to think that’s going on. I guess it comes down to how much wood CMac’s holding over his old man’s dismissal. I’ve got to think in the long run Fran is happier, winding up in a place better suited to his skill set and in a part of the country more like home.

I’m sure she’s happy and proud deep inside but she knows it’s a sore subject still with Connor. She’s not going to rock the boat.

The hilarious part of our comment is you actually probably believe it.

Honestly don’t care. New team, new coach, new culture. If former players are too selfish and narcissistic to support this team the f@ck ‘em…
This is how I feel, but she did reshare Penn winning their conference tourney and making the dance. Honestly, it says more about that little ***** Connor than it does about CC.

Clark did great things for Iowa women’s basketball, and I wish her well in the WNBA. But if I’m being 100 percent honest, I don’t like or watch women’s basketball. The only two women’s games I’ve ever watched were the two games Iowa made the NCAA championship. Not that she needs my approval or viewership… she’s set financially for life. But women’s basketball is like watching turtles race uphill compared to the men’s game. There, I said it.

I was into it when CC first went to the WNBA.....no more. It is a slanted league and not meant for someone like CC. In addition I think it is a bit strange on her part as an alum to not get behind the men's team and their run. I am sure that has something to do with Connor. Too bad and a missed opportunity for her.

You don't like 6'3" post players with 16 inch verticals? How dare you.

How can that be? For somebody who has only watched two Iowa games you sure have plenty of comments about Jan's coaching and Iowa players. Are you truly being 100% honest?

They were very generous and kept him around about seven years longer than most schools would have, so, yeah.
That's not the point. (never mind the fact that he had one the highest assist/turnover rates in the country). They fired his dad.

If your spouse was the manager of a Holiday Inn and got fired, would you continue staying at Holiday Inn on vacations??? (maybe not the best example, but you get the point)

They fired his dad. You seriously expect him to still support the Hawks?

While this is my first take as well, you have to remember it's just business. Iowa gave them generational wealth and while other coaches got fired for less, Fran was given a long leash.

I do wish CC would say something positive toward Iowa. She supported Butler and Penn but our most popular alumni being radio silent is not what I was hoping for.

Yes, but when it come to family, all those rational feelings and facts go out the window.

I would expect that Conor will carry a grudge for the rest of his life and I would say that the vast majority of people in his situation would do the same. (not saying it's rational, but it is reality)

This! Iowa set up Connor’s family for life even if he doesn’t live off Clark. How many of us can say that about our employer if we were shown the door after 15 years on the job with results trending downward?

You must have me confused with the other anon character. I’ve only watched two Iowa women’s games, and even those were a struggle to get through. Happy when Iowa succeeds in any sport or activity, but doesn’t mean I enjoy watching.

Considering every other prominent alum has posted or made some vocal support...yes.
Vocal doesn't mean online posting. Who gives a sh*t. Well obviously you but still, what a weiner thing to complain about after the biggest game for men's basketball in almost 40 years.

(This is my extent of social media, and sometimes I wonder why I come here too)

Honestly who cares... I just love to know the fact that this March run is making the Mccaffery family furious and miserable lol. They will be huge Illini fans on Saturday, says a lot about their character, which they don't have much of...
I love that every win just piles on the misery. I think Fran will combust if we make the FF in year one.
