Wish somto would come backLet him walk let him walk let him walk
I agree he should be a big part, but we need a center than can actually grab a tough rebound and not lose the ball consistently. A rim protector would be nice too.
I thought his hands were pretty good halfway through the season, but he definitely regressed down the stretch. So many times he failed to grab a key rebound which was in his grasp or he got stripped. He has some of the worst hands I saw on a big this season. I love the kid. A kentucky kid but he isnt worth more than a Mil

How is it possible Florida has guys like Fland and Urban Klavzar announce returns quickly and we can't quickly lock down a guy like MM?
I could see each of them making 2-3 million, maybe a little moreLook, if the $22M number was true, then Oweh, DA, Quaintance and Lowe had to make about $14-15M of it. Give him a bump, if he turns it down plenty of others will take it
Thats what I am saying.I could see each of them making 2-3 million, maybe a little more
Chances are we were probably one of the more expensive rosters, don’t know about 22 but we’re definitely on the high endThats what I am saying.
We had to pay them at least $12M-14M. Did we pay the entire roster over $1M each? Did Hawthorne make a million? Those four had to make the bulk of it IMO, whatever it was

Deeply unserious program if Moreno is the starter next year, he has earned nothing.
My guess is the core playing returning group of Moreno/Kam/Chandler, will probably cost 5.5-7M total.Look, if the $22M number was true, then Oweh, DA, Quaintance and Lowe had to make about $14-15M of it. Give him a bump, if he turns it down plenty of others will take it
I don't see stokes coming for 3 mil! IMO it'll take 5 million! My guess is the core playing returning group of Moreno/Kam/Chandler, will probably cost 5.5-7M total.
Moreno will be between 2-3. Chandler between 1.5-2.5. Kam between 1.25 and 1.75.
That leaves us at least 2 3M type Stokes/portal/overseas additions and more selective budget conscious depth.
These numbers are not close to possible if the list posted on here the other day of top 20 Nil college athletes is accurate (I forget the source publication or who actually posted it). Number 20 was listed at 2.1 million as I recall and UK had no one on the list.Look, if the $22M number was true, then Oweh, DA, Quaintance and Lowe had to make about $14-15M of it. Give him a bump, if he turns it down plenty of others will take it
Easy, take the money we spent on JQ and give half or a third or whatever to MM. While we're at it, we can cut Garrison's share and put whatever is left in toward a couple stretch bigs.
Probably. I just used 3M+ as my threshold for our best players. Probably includes Stokes, top 30 transfers, best overseas guys.I don't see stokes coming for 3 mil! IMO it'll take 5 million!
I know I'm in the minority. The vast minority...but I'd love to have a senior Brandon Garrison coming off the bench. I'll never understand the hate towards him. Is he a great player? Na. But he's decent energy guy. He's not that bad of a player. Especially if Pope can get it out of him every game.Easy, take the money we spent on JQ and give half or a third or whatever to MM. Don’t let the lack of reporting of other teams NILs suggest most of these top teams don’t have large NIL budgets. Heck just look at LSU with Will Wade getting a 14-15M NIL budget commitment. Yes schools like Iowa/Nebraska/Iowa St had good years with small budgets but they’re more outliers."outperforming his first year deal"
I mean listen. I like him. He's a good player. I think the longer he stays here, he can develop into a key piece moving forward but.............come on now lol.
Maybe I just have a bad perception of what exactly "worth" is in this NIL era. Yeah he may have been one of the lower paid guys but we had 22 million (apparently). It wasn't that he got paid too low. The other guys got paid too high. Especailly considering what other schools are doing with much less (again apparently) NIL funds.
