I didn't see this posted in the myriad of other threads... sorry if it already was.
I can't imagine another legendary head coach (Gable for instance) doing an interview after winning ANOTHER title in blowout fashion and among the first thing you talk about is, 'other programs not following the rules'.
He must be really uptight about what DT is putting together as a challenge to the throne.
I'm beginning to think Carl really is just not a good guy.

Beginning??? Getting Bobby Douglas axed and then leaving ISU should have been a HUGE red flag.

Petty and self-righteous. PSU had just won by 50 points over its nearest competitor. If there's rampant cheating, it certainly didn't affect the outcome. In any event, who's the intended audience for Cael's remark? If Christian Pyles doesn't know what you're talking about, that's true of 99.99% of the persons listening to your post-tournament comments.

The POS krailure is now running hitlers playbook- "Accuse other of that which you are guilty of!" Thing I find AMAZING about it is. He can do it with a straight face!!! Con-man, politicians, scumbags, etc.... MUST take ACTTING classes or something to be able to perform as they do!!!!

Some one needs to ask him, exactly who he is referring to? I assUme DT over at OakTree st due to JAX??? Oddly enough, he might want to rethink this and kiss DT's *** due to it having a direct impacy on IOWA losing BASSETT!!!

Yeah, former high level and highly respected athletes are always super willing to detail abuse by former teammates, especially when it's sexual in nature. I'm sure he made it all up and the person he accused just so happens to not be part of the program anymore... all just innocent "rumors".
You guys are great at sweeping that stuff under the rug, must be something in the water up there.

Sounds like you are the one triggered. Why are you here to defend something that isn't happening? I have no idea what's being said on your site, because IDGAF. Hawks at at a low point or a high one, I don't go to other forums to beat my chest, gloat, or defend them. Until Cael got a big money daddy he never beat Iowa. Taylor was the foundation of PSU under Carl.

There is zero doubt Cael feels the threat. He is by far the greatest wrestling coach of all time and the guy who knows how it was done now runs a very well funded blue blood program. This is a 2 horse race for quite some time. The only way the plot thickens is if another well funded program like Iowa,tOSU, or Michigan were to hire another PSU insider. Which of these programs will get a clue first? I'm thinking meatchicken.

Michigan does make a lot of sense. I mean, they did prove in football that, if you aren't cheating, you aren't trying......;)

Meatchicken is a sleeping giant imo. The school has money and is located in a very good wrestling area. They always seem to do less with more but that can change quickly if the right coach shows up and gets a few very wealthy alumni (which they have many) behind the program. It is an arms race and funding matters.

They have always had a pretty strict, almost Ivy like philosophy for athletes EXCEPT FOR revenue sports. If they had the support and treated it like football, they would probably even surpass PSU. There is no doubt the "Blue Wall" is a thing. For all that football has gone through, they will still be right back near the top VERY SOON. Mind you, they even had a Dr. scandal themselves that magically disappeared with nearly no negative publicity.

I doubt they ever truly get the backing from the Athletic Department they would need to make that big jump, but they definitely have the Alumni to easily fund whatever they could possibly need and a name to easily recruit with ANYONE...

UH- NO!!!! Krailure is NOT within 10,000 miles of GABLE!!!! GABLE build a DYNASTY the right way!!! He instilled the IOWA STYLE which has been and IS the way EVERYONE follows one way or another!!! GABLE did not use some FatMoneyMans cash to skirt the rules and BUY championships!!! It is a B1G difference!!!

You could compare it for example to CHUCK KNOLL and the STEELERS!!! KNOLL BUILT his team!!! He did NOT go out and buy a bunch of talent. He did not SPY or steal other teams playbooks, or communications during a game!!! AGAIN B1G difference between WINNING the RIGHT way and winning by CHEATING!!!

Sooo IF you want to give Krailure credit? Give him credit for being the LOW LIFE he is, and finding a place where LOW LIFES can flourish!! He did that and makes a lot of money as he gets away with it!!! I guess IF you are "one of those people" that are OK with these types of things? It helps to explain why things today are the way they are!!!!

I still don't understand what Sanderson was trying to gain by saying that, especially at that time these statements were made. The thing that is probably driving me the most nuts about these comments is the old saying that people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Every successful college athletic program has dirt they're trying to keep under the rug. Every freaking one. I don't care if we are talking about football, basketball, baseball, or wrestling...if you have a constant winning program, you have something you don't want out there. There's been more than enough stuff pop up in and around the Penn State/NLWC wrestling program over the last 18 months that the only way you can say that you are clean is if you 1) are intentionally ignorant of what is going on inside your program, 2) unintentionally ignorant of what is going on inside your program, or 3) set such tight parameters around the phrases "program" and "clean" that you may only be talking about one specific element of your program.

He took a recruit by the name of David Taylor and also one named, I believe, Matt Brown(who was on a 2 year Mormon mission).
