And it's clear that's his thing, so it will be a nearly impossible habit to break for college ball, especially since he's doing that as a freshman and still has 3 more years of high school. Maybe they can coach it to be more subtle while he's there.

When dealing with nil, and planning a new team. Things can go two ways. Some kids want to be the superstar on the team. We had oweh back, so you try to find pieces around him. Everyone knows the jq experiment was high risk, high reward. People are saying we missed on everyone when in reality they were never gonna leave one side of the US or their home state. Wow shocker..

Also to the ones who obsess with freshmen when was the last time freshmen played a big part of winning the title? How were you to know if freshmen were great this year until the end of the year? Last time a freshmen helped win it was Dukes jahil okafor...js. it's been more about experience..

I'm saying it's been a lot of years since freshmen had that big of an impact. It was more about upper class players. Look at Florida and UConn the years before.

I’d hate to have Boozer, or Dybantsa, or Wilson, or Ament, or Cenac, or Flemmings, or McKenny, or Wagler, or shall I continue? We got Jasper Johnson though. Pope really chose the cream of the crop of this class.
For Pope without Hart and probably Brooks, just assume every new coach will be a stormin’ Mormon. And expect our recruits will be mostly awkward white boys who are BYU adjacent.At least he whiffs on recruits and coaches now right?.
Pope is gonna try and get some guys locked up for the future 28 he’s gonna get it for the future and then they won’t be able to fire him. It’s just the bottom line. He’s gonna make it to where he’s on fireable making sweet 16 having a few recruits. He’s had his back that that’s gonna be enough to keep the job in perpetuity.

Stokes is the only needle mover unless it’s a change at the top in my opinion.
