What can we as Fans realistically do to get UK to make a change?

That change being a new head coach of course. Realistically what power do we have. stop going to the games? Won't they sell out anyway, most of the seats are to season ticket holders. Is being aggressively negative publicly are only recourse?

What can you do? Nothing. You have no power. Maybe if you are a booster contributing seven-figures to the program, you can have a say, but even then you aren't going to really change anything. To repeat: You have no power. Neither do I.

Mark Pope is going to be the Kentucky coach for at least 350 days or so. Don't like it? No one cares. No one cares what you do, or what I do: Don't go to games. No one cares. Don't watch on TV. No one cares. Post on social media that you hate Mark Pope. No one cares.

But we do have choices:
1. Root for Pope to succeed and for Kentucky basketball to have a great year, despite our doubts.
2. Find something else to do with our time.
3. Spend the next year filled with misery, even actively rooting for the team to do poorly and Pope to fail.

I'm going with #1.

If people want a change they can not come to games but that hurts us in the long run. Someone who said just recruit walk ons, that hurts win percentage. If you stop spending money you could damage on what recruits think of money here or our program in general

Really? You must be new around here.

Do you not recall when no one showed up to the Vandy football game and Mitch wanted to fire Joker right after? But a few games before, he said Joker was doing a good job?

Come on man. You care enough to post that you don't care. Classic.

dont travel to neutral site games or post season games. dont show up to regular season games , if you have season tickets threaten to cancel or cancel if you have to. unless its the Crafts , no one person or family can make something happen but if we band together we can get stuff done.

In my worthless opinion, the fans will only make a difference in this decision in a very narrow range of outcomes for the roster/team.

If they’re an obvious top 15 team he’s probably safe. If they’re team 25-50, he’s gone. It’s that team 16-24 range where I think the fans opinion/demonstration will come into play.

Go into the season excited and give the coach and the team a chance to prove themselves.

If the team and coach fail, check out.

Apathy hurts the administration more than anger, but doesn't negatively affect the ability for the program to get a solid coach and players long term.

Grit it and bear it. Hope for the best.
Technically, you can write a letter to the BOT and request a formal in-person meeting to discuss. However, I suspect the request would be denied on grounds.

Fans can't do a whole lot. The only thing they have is their money and time. Turn in your season tickets and stop any K-fund donations. Not spending your money or time going to the games is really the only voice you have.

Not happy about how we're trending at all. I hope things improve tremendously next year, but hope is not a plan. Not much fans can do really, because the PTB don't really give a rat's arse what we think.
