Iowa kind of blows but they really do play hard and they junk it up a lot. UF forgot to get out and run and that changed everything.

Florida had a hard time scoring in the paint where they attacked the whole game and herkeys ate the clock and taking a shoot inside 5 seconds threw them off and McCollum out coached Golden es the last 8 seconds of the game.
He certainly did. I still have no idea WTF Golden was thinking on Iowa's last possession. Credit the Hawkeyes for capitalizing on his stupidity, but Golden handed them the game-winner on a silver platter - then blamed his players.

After the game didn't he try to say they planned on fouling to put Iowa on the line because they thought Iowa was going to try and shoot a 3 to win the game? Who the hell fouls a team when they are up two because they are scared they might shoot a 3….

He just means Houston will be allowed to foul the **** out of guys the entire game vs Illinois and every other opponent, especially in Houston.
Herkie does have three guys that concern me that can shoot the ball. Stirtz, Koch and Vulgaris can do damage. They hit the boards well too. Hate to give them boneheads too much credit, but theyre pretty resilient. Our guys have got to take care of the ball, and needless to say….hit our shots🫤
Yes he did say something like that. While I too find that to be a dumb strategy, it's even dumber to stack your defenders on the wrong end of the floor and give Iowa a run-out fast break.

If we play our normal game we should win. If they allow Iowa to hold Sandfort like the previous games, gonna be a struggle.
Hawks are gonna ball screen Lawrence with Berke’s man to get that mismatch all night long. Need an adjustment there.
Hard to guard the paint when you're guarding the perimeter well. But even then Io_a is hitting threes the same way we have.
