Not surprising. But boy was he f'd!! And if it's because of the rumored off-season reason, that's garbage.

He also ended up playing 14 games this year, so I assume he lost a year also.

Best of luck to KJ.

Sorry I missed it. What was the rumored "off season reason?"

I thought KJ was going to take a huge jump after the way he finished his freshman season. Hope he finds a place to shine.

The story I heard was it was greatly frowned upon that he didn't work out/lift with the team during the summer. He got his own trainer.

Who cares? This is the sane board that buried Clayton at the start of the year.
I'm not vouching for the sanity of this board, but the idea that burying Clayton at the start of the year was anything but sane is preposterous. He was an offensive black hole at the beginning. He couldn't even make free throws. His shooting and overall game improved tremendously, especially later in the season. But to pretend that in November in December he wasn't a liability is jut not accurate.

Yes, he was horrible and couldn’t throw it in the ocean the first two months of the season. However, he was still our best defender at guard. I know that isn’t a high bar, but all those clamoring for KJ or Green early in the year must not have watched the game closely when we didn’t have the ball.
