I don’t get it. There is a lot of talented Kentuckians who can run the school and especially the athletic programs. If old Eli from Tuscaloosa hires Marc hill a Mormon from Utah who the heck is looking out for the name on the front? He will keep pope well past his expire date. Once you make these big outside hires they will stay outside to exert power over the school fans, and everything in between. Outsiders aren’t going to stand up for UK. To them UK is a nameless entity of which they are charged to do their job to the minimum of winning to the max of the money going round. Marc hill or anyone current in the AD would be probably the final nail for UK basketball.
Nothing is changing. It’s just new outsiders coming in to exploit to UK bb and the tradition. To them a nameless entity. If outsiders weren’t acting like they are using uk as a front for perceived corruption I wouldn’t say we need a Kentuckian (or at least someone Ohio or Indiana maybe TN if they loved UK )to run our AD and university.
UK went outside the family to run the school and BB has been driven into the ground. Our BB program was the university. UK gets no run as respected without our basketball team at the top. That’s just the way it is they disrespected to the Basketball program and immediately presidents crying about $100 million deficit that’s that’s on them for neglecting the basketball program. It’s lost fans the venue shrunk. The amount of people watching has probably been cut in half merchandise. I’m sure is down big time and I said this in another pose but when we’re losing the only UK fan like a blue blooded Kentuckian is buying merch . When were winning? All kinds of people are buying in Kentucky merchandise and investment in Kentucky goes up it just it lifts the state it always has these guys came and just all about money so they turned the school into all about money basketball program all about money let’s pay 22 million you know 6 million more than than Top sweet 16 team.
