I just don’t understand what we’re missing out of the hand from LHP.. we’re not this tentative against RHP. They’ve taken some middle-middle stuff already tonight from this guy.
Bases juiced for Jake Schaffner with two outs, was in the same situation last game against Louisville
I never mind a guy swinging at the first pitch after a walk, but let’s pick up the spin and let it go if it’s not something straight.

We just do not see the ball well out of the hand from LHP. It’s understandable from LHH, but I don’t get it from the RHH standpoint.

I’m a little surprised this inning not a pinch hitter for Howe. He did not look good against the lefty..Scored anyway on a wild pitch. Needed that one!
He was never throwing 6 innings with an important ACC series this weekend.

He talked about the staff getting him to pull the ball more to hit for more power, but a big part of that has to be pitch selection. There’s some pitches you just can’t pull with any authority.
