This should be a no brainer, but I’ve seen it too many times.

Tuesday night’s big game against Wichita State will bring down a lot of WSU fans. They wear black and gold.

Therefore, TU fans need to wear blue, blue or blue……but NOT gold!
You may have not been here for the game in 1982 against # 16 Wichita State , National TV game of the week on CBS. The Assembly Center was filled with TU Gold. Back then Nolan Richardson promoted the "GOLDEN" Hurricane. I think AD Derrick Gragg changed it to Blue as a primary color. PS. TU won that game with unicycles, etc before the game.

A girl on a unicycle, a guy in a gorilla suit, Randy Boggs and the Polka Dot Twins. Those were the days.

Hopefully we’ve restricted the wheat chaff to their 100 ticket allocation.

Back then, when we sold out home games, no opponents could find many tickets to buy. It’s a different world today. WSU will be bringing several hundred loud fans. I don’t want them to get credit for TU fans wearing gold! Regardless, TU fans need to be at least as vocal as the UNLV game!

Go TU!!!!

I believe that one was on a Sunday afternoon and may have been one of the greatest games ever at the Convention Center.

On this evening telecast, the ESPN2 announcers mentioned the long history between the two schools and thought tonight’s game may be the biggest ever. I’ll have to disagree with them on that one.
