Kentucky Women’s Basketball Roster

I’ve loved watching this team all year. Watching them now and thinking they have:

• A dynamic point guard that can score and make plays for teammates
• a scoring guard that can shoot and has skills complimentary to the PG
• big wing that can shoot and provides spacing
• Two dominant bigs that score inside and out, have great low-post games, and provide elite rim protection.
• a consistent, trusted guard that comes off the bench

It can be so simple. Imagine if the Kentucky men had literally any of those things lol. But hey JMI/Portal Era/NIL/whatever doesn’t seem to be preventing Kenny Brooks from building a cohesive roster 🤷🏼‍♂️

The roster needed a couple more dependable guards, one point guard and another shooting guard, they really only have two guards that play much at all.

The problem with women's basketball is it still to this very day top heavy. The top seeds just destroy everybody as always.

It's competitive from seed 3 and lower.

But once they reach the top seeds it's over and usually by alot.

Nil has not fixed this problem. The top 2 seeds usually steamroll through to the final four.

Greenway, although only a freshman next year, will be an improvement over Morgan. I know that’s a bold statement, but Morgan doesn’t look to score enough, even with the talent to do so. Greenway was the national top scorer this year in all of Girl’s HS basketball. Texas next Saturday will be a hard out.

But as far as roster building goes this coach knows what he's doing. Size is how you win. He just needs to get size that doesn't turn the ball over like crazy when pressured.

This is by far my favorite coach we've ever had when it comes to building roster though. I trust his instinct when it comes to making a team. He knows point guard he knows size. Will win big with him eventually ...it might be this year.

If they can just figure out how not to turn the ball over!

If I knew he could get players you can make him Kentucky basketballs men's coach tomorrow and I wouldn't have a problem with it because I know he knows how to build a roster. That's how impressed I am with his abilities.

Gonna get humiliated by Texas next week. 0 shot at winning anything that matters.
Well bub no other sport at Kentucky besides rifle, volleyball and cheer do have a shot at winning anything that matters, but we are all here on this message board discussing it anyway 🤷🏻‍♂️
