Pope only brought in JQ because no one else would pay the money we did for an injured guy. It was Pope's way of saying "look, I can bring in big time players."

on april 5th yaxel committed to michigan. pope panicked and on april 8th JQ commits to kentucky. no one was offering JQ the kind of money pope was so he took it. pope knew full well he was recovering from a bad injury and the risk of not playing was real.

Nah, JQ, the coaches, his dad, his camp all said how far along he was. He was gonna come in and be ready way before December. He took forever, came in and played well one game. Then he started to get exposed and his dad panicked and they shut him down. We all have a right to be super pissed. A key guy on this team came in and got paid like a star to pout in the corner and act hurt. IDC what he says. I wouldn’t be surprised if after the year we find out doctors cleared him 2 months ago. Like I have always said, if he goes to the combine and plays summer league. He is FOS.
