If we’re allegedly losing 4 assistant coaches, that means we’ll have to find 4 more. And that’ll take some time, time that could be used recruiting the portal. We’re just wasting time. The writing is on the wall. Why are we running it back what is likely to lead to an utter disaster next season?

Because mitch wasted so much money on Stoops buyout. I knew when that happened that secured Pope another year. Barnie also has to get his 1 million a year.
The portal doesn’t even open for two more weeks. These things move fast even if they’re not official fast. The coach at Utah St was eliminated like 15 hours ago or whatever and is already the new coach at UC. Already some of our insiders are saying Hart to Pepperdine. These won’t be long dragged out searches, especially considering he’ll probably hire a buddy or two…
