I was just getting married in 2000 and I definitely remember the last time Iowa advanced and of course the Gamble shot in 87… this was a making from the Lord himself as I am still in disbelief they won this game but as CBS said they deserved the W as Iowa definitely outplayed them throughout the game. We have unfinished business with NEBBY so I am definitely looking forward to Iowa in the great 8… will it happen? Idk but I pray they do and I believe they can after that absolutely awesome and amazing game.

I lived in Long Beach, CA and watched the Gamble shot at Legands sports bar in Belmont Shores. A great memory. This was equally as special as I was with my brother in Iowa city to watch. We have the right coach folks and a real shot to advance to another round. Nebraska is damn tough but we have played them well. Glad we have a few days to come down to earth and get focused.

Im 58 been through all the lows with the hawks and can never forget this as went via ambulance to hospital wednesday with severe chest pains and had to have 3 stents put in, the fight I saw from the hawks was unreal on the boards and points in the paint, hope this cinderella story has more chapters left

We've got a timeshare in Treasure Island. I got a Hawkeye beach cart for my parents for their 50th anniversary that we borrow when we're in town. It's remarkable how many 'Go Hawks' I get when we're rolling it down the beach walk. Or just wearing a Hawkeye shirt or hat elsewhere in the area.
