Not a very good play by Florida.
As you can see, they had plenty of time to get a shot up.
Never been on it, never gonna be, so it's all good to me.Love when Fran thinks nobody has access to twitter

The shot that we will remember FOREVER!!!
Final Four is the floor!!!Rambler,
IF we start making our FTS and a few more threes in our upcoming games, are we talking about an @EvilMonkeyInTheCloset NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP??? ;0
Fact ^^ the network studio analysts highlighted this significantly in their postgame commentary in crediting Iowa too FYI.This single game was a textbook example of the difference...this team fought from the tip to the finish. So mentally and physically tough, and that starts at the top.
That home crowd was insanely loud on my TV…unreal that we held on!🫨We had 2 double digit leads that we blew, IIRC.
And then we were in foul trouble and Florida was shooting FTs for the rest of the game.
I thought we were done.
The 3 ball sure makes for some fun endings (usually IOWA is on the wrong end, however).
Too bad the game isn't at Carver. Ya think we might have a sellout, students, everyone wanting in? LolIncredible what Ben has done in his first year here, not only creating the culture, getting 20+ wins, rebuilding the fan base, and finally, getting the program to the Sweet Sixteen! Monumental indeed!
And that Indy would win the NC in football!Who da thunk in late October that either Nebraska OR Iowa was GUARANTEED a spot in the Elite 8?
You and THOUSANDS of other people too!I'm diehard, and I didn't think there was even the slightest chance before the game. Even when we were up 12, I just thought to myself, "Florida will probably come back, but a hell of an effort from this team!"
Don’t forget Coooooper!Other than Alvaro, Banks is my MVP. He’s a dog. So tough. Never backed down from any of the Florida bigs

Well the massive black dude had a few nice shoves never get called. Especially the one at the end of the first half that should’ve been a flagrant and had us shooting ft’s. The foul call on Cam at the end to give Fl ft’s and the lead. Coop got shoved hard in the chest at one point. Those were the egregious ones, im sure there were moreFran…. I watched most of the game tonite… please advise me on how the officiating screwing UIowa? I never saw it. The “double tech” was rightly called..Iowa was super aggressive in the boards tonight and given the size difference of the teams, the calls were certainly reasonable. I thought the game was fairly officiated… and fairness is all you can hope for any more. Bitchin’ about “officiating” is all too often a knee jerk reaction to a random call.

Indeed. Now Alvaro's name will forever be etched in Hawkeye lore! That can never be taken away.Nothing but net baby! He took a lot of heat on this board this year! Now he's a legend!!
Coop absolutely saved our *** today. Kept us in the game when Florida started rolling.
I never would have thought that Stirtz being 0 for 9 from 3, and Banks missing a bunch of free throws, that somehow we would still be in position to win this game.
How sweet it is! Bring on Nebbie!!!
