Indiana jumped all over Darian DeVries.

😂

There is probably not a single coach in the country who would be a better fit at Iowa than the guy they have right now.

Get this man some NIL money, because the dude can flat out coach.

Go Hawks!
Not only he can coach, when he started yelling at the Florida coach during that bizarre tackling and punching sequence, he showed his fighter spirit. He’s not known for that kind of reaction. But he demonstrated that he understood what the moment required. I loved his reaction. And that “sensitive” comment. You go, Ben.

Yeah, I don’t know who lit the fuse on Todd Golden Shower’s tampon, but it was pretty clear on replay there was no actual attempted punch at the Florida player. It was weird, but AF was clearly trying to knock the ball loose, which is why AF’s fist was nowhere close to the guy’s face. I watched the replay of it about ten times now. AF’s fist went right to his own wrist, almost like he was trying to gain more leverage to pry the ball loose.

Regardless, anyone not blind and possessing half a functioning brain (obviously not Dan Bonner) could see there was no attempt to swing at the Florida player. I mean, lol, it’s not even debatable. It wasn’t close.

Oh, and I love Ben McCollum’s quote:

“I don’t know. They were just going for the ball,” McCollum told Ross. “Then, everybody got all sensitive. Then, their people got sensitive. We’re just trying to play ball. It’s whatever. We’ll compete. We’ll fight. We’ll see what happens.”

Since that atrocious officiated game in 2005, all of Gay-Turd Nation can eat sh*t. Go Hawks! Go Noles!

Seriously one of the all time great interview answers made by an Iowa Coach…I was smiling ear to ear. Golden can F off, his player essentially body slammed AF!

That play is a terrific example of how video replay can affect a game. In the first clip, it seemed absolutely clear that a punch was thrown. When they showed it from a different angle, it was absolutely clear that it wasn't.

I dont think they went all in on DD. I think they were spurned by our coach and moved on to DD. That is what I heard anyway.
