I wanted Stirtz out of the portal last year, but knew when his coach took the Iowa job that dream was over. I still would have liked to have had Folgueiras instead of Jelavic.
Why.... is it because he embarrassed UK“s cuck of a coach?
They look well coached, Iowa. Didn't really follow them at all this year but they play fast and hard. Looks like they made a better hire than we did.
Prolific winner. 4 d2 titles is second most all time and he did it before he turned 40. Probably gets a 5th if not for covid. They were a 1 loss favorite when the season got cancelled that year too.
His last season they lost to the eventual champion in a true road game (there are 8 1 seeds in the d2 tournament that host the first 3 rounds). But they missed the front end of a 1 and 1 with 5 seconds left up 1 and the other team went up court and Luke Maye’d yhem.
People thooght I was crazy, and i knew it would never happen, but that’s who i wanted when Cal left. Would have hired him right out of D2.
Be great if Self and Golden are eliminated today.

Golden talked all that trash and his team did NOTHING after beating UK.
Good, dont really like Golden. And it goes to show you.. the current "best" coaches arent going to the final4 every year.
