Rick Pitino is the best Kentucky Coach of my lifetime. I hope he and the Johnnies win the whole thing.
I don’t like Pitino because of Louisville and mostly because of him putting out that video selling us on Pope, but I respect his coaching. Maybe top 2 all time.
Agreed RP is an excellent coach, and I'm sure he absolutely knew Pope couldn't handle the UK job.
It's kind of comical to me that Pitino and Calipari are in the S16 while UK and UL are home watching.
Then root for them? My team lost to ISU.
Go cheer for St John’s and ‘YOUR’ coach!
Yet Pope still beat them head to head. There is a big difference in having months to prepare for the regular season matchup with vs days in the random tournament.
