What’s the first thing Pope does to get this program back on track?

Unfortunately I don’t see him getting this program back on track. He probably is what he’s been for his entire coaching career and that’s an average coach who doesn’t get top talent and belongs at a lower tier school. Pains me to say that but we are a long way from being an elite program right now.

I don’t see much. I hope I am wrong and Pope and staff surprises the hell out of me in recruiting and building next year’s team.

As it stands now, I feel like if next year is the same or worse than this one, the new AD will “ part ways” with Pope. I don’t think it’s happening after this season.

I so badly want Mark to succeed here, but right now it’s not looking like he’s the guy. Next year is huge.

Stupid question. If he cares about the program, he resigns.
I care about the program too, but not enough to just walk away from millions of dollars. Only a fool would do that.

We’re going to have to fire him or “part ways”
if we want to make it sound nice.

He's not average. He's a poor coach. Worst I've ever seen.
