I don't have anything to add op; I think you covered all the reasons for optimism.

I've been supportive of the wait and see approach. But the way he coached this game was terrible. We were doing good and then he goes and screws up the lineup. Then he isn't able to coach the team on how to beat the double teams. Just a terrible job today against a team who was down their best player. I've seen all I need to see. Unfortunately I think he gets a third year, but we need to move in a different direction in my opinion.

lol. I feel you OP but the real answer is maybe just maybe it will be Popes last year after he wins 63% of his games and flames out the first weekend.

But LOWE WILL PLAY. I mean we just saw how much Kam going out meant to this team, now Lowe is back so that should be….

Hang in there by 15 instead of losing 20?

Mark had to do well early and didn’t. He’s lost his footing. He’s been finished at UK since last season when he was rejected by all players he recruited. I’m sorry I try not to be an *** but some people have no idea what they’re looking at in basketball. No idea.

When Cal left I thought we were going to finally have a coach that was good at coaching X’s and O’s. I knew we’d sacrifice some recruiting but thought we’d still snag above average recruits. Now we have no recruits and we have a coach that is worse than Calipari with X’s and O’s. There is nothing to be optimistic about. Kentucky will be a 26-40th caliber team. We will have a 65% winning percentage and the sweet 16 is the ceiling.

Because Pope has a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful mind.

Reason 3: I'm writing the Mormon church to change their rules to 2 more years of foreign missionary work to keep good standing in the church. Pope better get his bicycle legs back in shape.

Good news is today was so bad that it’ll force change. Another win or two and too many of these scrubs would’ve been welcomed back.

Today’s disaster gives Pope the excuse to clean house. But he had a terrible offseason last year, so there’s not much reason for optimism.
