The guy had no significant success in his nine years of being a head coach at previous schools. I don't know why we continue to torture ourselves thinking that he will somehow change just because he is at UK.
He needs to put the walks on in. They haven't gotten to play for a while. I mean who cares about winning and losing anymore. It should be about everyone gets to play. But in all seriousness, I rfuse to turn my tv on to watch UK. UK basketball use to be something id get so pumped up when the season started. I watch each game 2-3 times. Win or lose. Last season the first half of the season it was pretty fun. Then at the start of SEC play it is like it changed. It was no longer fun to watch. Id walk away upset after every game. Win or lose didnt matter. Id be upset. So i stopped watching. This year has all been upset after each game. Doesnt matter if we win or lose. There just isnt any enjoyment in a Mark Pope coached game. And it isnt just Pope it is a lot of teams in a lot of sports. Analytics has ruined sports. Well along with gambling and tv networks. Or to sum it all up money.
I wish our coaching staff knew winning basketball.
