This is not a personal attack, I want him to stay with the program, but he is a walking disaster. Just now, gets lost on a pick and roll (again) and gives up a lob dunk, then has a rebound dunk of his own go directly through his hands. He cannot play at this level until all facets of his game get faster and stronger.

He’s been a thoroughly average center this year. Only 1 double-double against power conference opponents. Only scored in double figures 6 times against power conference opponents. Only came up with 17 points and 12 rebounds in 65 total minutes across 3 SEC tournament games.

Still think he’s a nice long term piece but Pope has gotta go find an upgrade at that position in the portal for next season. I’m not with the fans penciling him in as a starter next season.
He’s gotten worse as the season has passed by

A big with god awful hands is basically unplayable.

Don't see what others apparently see on here. But then again, there are a lot of really, really dumb people who post here.

He's a good player and going to be really good or great. He's a freshman that isn't ready for a role this big. Needs time to develop.

MM is so weak. Makes me think that he’s never been inside the weight room. He’s relied on his size playing against smaller players his whole life. He’s got a lot of work to do this summer.

He definitely has regressed or maybe exposed.. or both. He was much better earlier in the year.

I am intrigued in him coming back to get better. Not like we have a center anyways. But it cant be for a lot of money, he in no way has proven to be worth any sort of $500k+ NIL deal.
