They're poorly coached. The clapper is going to survive this year and get another. That will just put us further behind the elite programs.
they're soft and scared, picking up their dribble left and right, it's embarrassing. we look like a JV team trying to play against seniors, pissing down our leg.
No natural point guard. It's only rocket science if one has a a premade agenda.

even as simple as : DONT pickup your dribble two steps past half court.

Value possessions. Take care of the ball. 12-13 turnovers is simply unacceptable.
Pope has to tell them if YOUR MAN goes to double team flashbto the open spot on the floor. It's elementary basketball. We should punish that gambling defense not fold like an acordian.

1. We don’t pressure the ball defensively yet foul - watch ISU. They see a scared opponent and apply more pressure.
2. Low basketball IQ - get double teamed. First pass the ball when you see the double coming. You have a numbers advantage!
3. Dribble Dribble Dribble! We love it. We run the dribble drive but don’t drive. We dribble without purpose and compound that by picking the ball up without a clue as to what to do.
4. No adjustments

Can we run a 1-2-2 full court press?
Can we trap?

7. Most importantly - when is payday??? Do we get a bonus for winning a tournament game? We were fatigued and should be compensated. Don’t think our guys will be too disappointed.

They were overplaying us all game, we got a few back doors then after a few turnovers we started picking up our dribble after crossing half court and the players started running away from the guy with the ball. Nobody wanted it, poor coaching and lack of ball handlers finally took us down.

That's what blew my mind. You can see the double-team coming from a mile away, the guy with the ball HAS to see that. Instead, we had guys trying to get theirs. They'd rather try and force the issue to get their points than to pass it to someone else.
