Why is Iowa playing at 1 p.m. instead of six?

Why is Iowa, recently named by Nielsen as the most popular women's basketball team in the nation as measured by TV viewership and social media, playing at 1 p.m. tomorrow instead of 6? The 6 p.m. game is Illinois vs. Vanderbilt. Makes no sense to me. Perhaps someone has an explanation they'd like to share.

Sure, but why put the most popular team in America and its 15,000 fans at 1 p.m. and Illinois-Vandy at 6? It makes no sense, unless ESPN wants to cut down TV viewership. Iowa fans who have tickets will have to miss work or school to be there. There simply is no logic I can find that explains why Illinois-Vandy gets the evening time slot over Iowa.

LOL. But Illinois-Vandy does? :rolleyes: Yah, I'm sure fans all over America are salivating as they await THAT matchup . . .

Nielsen just named the Iowa women's team the most popular in the country, #1, numero uno, and that's gonna change over one game that, BTW, they won by 10? It's pure bullshitt from ESPN. But what would you expect from those morons . . .

I can't see how parking will not be a major problem at CHA today. Spring Break was last week, so the campus should be full today I would imagine and parking is tight before you put 15K+ in CHA. It should be a great day though for the Uber drivers! :)
