All i want to say is thank you oweh for everything, he might not have been the most talented player on the floor, but i've never seen a kentucky player want to win as much as he does for us.

Oweh has been an incredible player over the past 2 years, working hard to satisfy the staff and lead his team 'til the battle is won !!
Oweh has been a great player for sure. We won't forget him. Pope struck gold and had a fine eye for him after taking the job
Love his offense but really hope his defense develops. It was like watching Reed Sheppard guard the 3-point shooter all year.
He’s the best defender on our team and has been for 2 years
What is your reasoning ?? What would our record have been without him ?? Do not forget the 2 games he won on last second drives last season.
Love Oweh's attacking that rim hard, and he has improved his game there. He's a scorer not a shooter, but I'll take a 00 anytime, and feel damn lucky to have him.

So glad he transferred when he did. UK would not have made the tournament this year without him. Hope Oweh has five more games to play before he graduates!

I'm glad he made some lucky shots and tried hard other than missed fts and some really baffling turnovers...but when I compare him to deaaron fox bam monk booker any of the real primetime guys that made me love UK I just shake my head with sadness.

Oweh was a hell of a find by Pope and this staff. They deserve credit for plucking him out of OU, where he was just a solid but unassuming player, and developing him into what he is now.
But they f'd up trying to make him the centerpiece of this year's team. If Otega Oweh is your best player, you're not going to have an elite ceiling. We found out the hard way this year, but to some of us it was pretty obvious that was going to be a mistake.
We desperately need a GM because I think Pope is too hard-headed to see how off course he was this year. I'm talking we need basically a 180 degree shift in roster construction.

He just wants to win. He doesn't care about you. And he’s always the most talented player on the floor on this team. In the SEC also. Only player you could argue is better is Acuff.
And the refs did more for santa clara than anybody, only to finally give us a small chance with owehs last second shot.
Hopefully the refs stop the easy contact calls where the opponent initiates contact with UK players and the refs really sell it blowing the whistle... poor UK. It messes with the players minds, when you are standing right in front of the opponent, and call silly fouls just because the players are trying to play defense.

It is true he’s been the best player and defender the last 2 years and it’s not even close
need more 2-3 year players. This wholesale new team every year is not only getting old, it makes it hard to get into rooting on a new roster every year.
Hes about 4th or 5th on the team metrically. But he’s give or take on par with DA on the perimeter. He’s good, not great. Which, if we are being fair, is his entire game.
Why does Pope play him ??

How would we possibly be better without him ??

Apparently, you haven't watched a Kentucky game this season. It is okay to just move on, little one.
He is talented player, but tends to do too much that hurts us in certain times in game by settling for jump shots. Also can be said about other players on the team.
His frame and quick first step, he should be one of top players getting to the free throw line. It may help us from going long scoring droughts.

Dude scored over 35 points and yet he “may not be the most talented player on the floor”? I get that Graves has NBA upside and rightfully so, but anyone watching that game should be able to tell pretty easily which team had the most talented player on the floor. Does his game translate perfectly to the NBA? Not in 2026, but people always gotta remind you how “mid” Oweh is, despite his performances. Know ball better.
