Tonight is like the night the Cubs won the World Series. Nobody thought it would ever actually happen. The curse is over.
So happy for Kent. He deserves this. All these years of broadcasting. Finally gets to the Sweet 16. Love you Kent.

Everybody thinks our football curse was because we fired Frank. I’m not so sure that it wasn’t replacing Pavelka on our football broadcasts.

That was a GREAT game from start to finish. I told my kid before the game I thought Nebraska would come out strong, stumble a bit but still have enough to come out on top at the end. Happy to be right for a change.

Not to mention we had to play with 7 fouls with over 10 minutes thought they would live on the FT line the last 3 minutes.

The zebras definitely changed the foul calling the last 5 minutes...thankfully
I’m happy for KP but he’s been paid to suffer watching NU basketball. I’ve watched this on my own dime and time for over 50 years. The fans who have supported this team deserve it more. Guys like Derrick Walker etc deserve it more.
Wife and I watched from start to finish and we kept saying..."what a great game..." looked like a great heavy weight fight to me... each one landing haymakers only for the other team to answer. What a night.
Special game. Special way to advance. An instant classic.
Derrick Walker's return from injury a couple of years ago was a real turning point for this program. Went from a nearly unwatchable "my turn to shoot" offense to a team that moved without the ball and ran great sets through the high post.
Have a been a few ups and downs since, but that was a pivotal event.
I’m not sure we get to this place without Walker and a few of those other guys. They were part of the foundation.
