BG
Moreno needs to be woken up, and maybe Garrison will keep up his great effort. If Garrison ever completely gets the mind with the god given ability, he would be NBA material.

Moreno. Giving BG any kind of self confidence vote is a bad idea. And to be just absolutely completely fair, BGs two “breakout” performances have come against LSU and Santa Clara. Moreno hasn’t been good lately, but to think BG has suddenly turned some corner is probably fools gold.

BG, reward him for what he did yesterday.

Let MM work the jitters out from the bench before putting him in.

MM has not played well lately. BG has but you never know with him. I would probably keep the lineup the same and give the most minutes to whoever is playing the best
Garrison has essentially had two (2) good games all year. Keep him hungry, coming off the bench.

MM isn’t going to help us this tournament. We’re going to have to depend on BG to play outstanding in order to have any chance from here on out.
I’d still start MM and Jelly because Mo and BG just seem to do better coming off the bench.

I’d start BG. That’s the best game that I think I’ve seen the guy play in a uk uniform. He made some big plays when they needed them. He had that will to win effort that we needed.

lol why is this even a question? It’s Moreno. You don’t change the lineup because one game.

Besides, BG is very likely to have one of his patented horrible games tomorrow. When has he ever had back to back good games? He’s MO has been have a great game followed by several bad ones.

I’d go with the same starters. Probably have to go to the bench early and bring in BG. BG is just so foul prone. Hell, he fouled out in only 9 minutes of play against someone recently. Can’t remember who it was we played. Granted, that was with SEC officiating. Lulz

BG helped save the game yesterday.
I don’t disagree. He also did against LSU in the SECT. But LSU and Santa Clara are about the level of teams he can compete with. He’s 50+ games into his UK career and 80+ games into is college career. He is what he is. I’m happy we caught lightning in a bottle with him in those two games. I don’t hold out hope that continues. Night in and night out, Moreno is still the best option. If Moreno plays soft AF (as he’s prone to do) early against ISU, then run BG off the bench early (he normally does anyway). I’ve seen plenty enough of BG to know what he is.

Because fans on a message board that have a fans knowledge of basketball tend to be big time prisoners of the moment. 🤷🏻‍♂️

This is the way it will go. Whoever plays best will get the most minutes.
However if neither play well. I would like to see Jelavic and MO play together. Jelavic had 7 rebounds yesterday in limited minutes.
