Arnold is a true warrior. Gave up a decent amount of weight and still found a way to get it done. Awesome.
Not going to lie, I didnāt see this coming for Gabe, but I love it for him! When he won in the blood round it looked like a pile of bricks had been lifted off his shoulders. Iāve been pleasantly surprised this tournament by the team and Iām happy for all of them!
Heās the kinda dude every team needs. Completely unselfish. Happy as heck for him. Go be a two time champ Gabe!
Gabe is a ****ing warrior, and a legend! Canāt ask for a guy to much more for his team than what he was asked, and he stepped up.
And watching his matches on the backside he was the aggressor in alot of them didnt just squeek by!
I appreciate his mental endurance, what he has to fight against. Think about the roller coaster. A few years ago he was beaming with confidence, talking about wanting to beat Starocci, and then he's not only not in the lineup, but not on the team. And now here he is, in tears because he AAd at 197. Gotta love him! Actually, brings tears to my eyes, too.

Happy for Gabe he's a team player . I mentioned Gabe could get some matches at 197 before the year started and most here said no way .
I'm not an Iowa fan, but that was the only match out of this year's tournament this year to give me a tear
Thats the kind of stuff that makes all of this worth it.
Gabe is one of the guys I root for. When he opens up and is wrestling to win instead of wrestling not to lose he's tough to beat. I'm surprised the kid can even walk with balls that big in the way. 
Congrats to both Gabe and PK on being All Americans, but I would have loved to be in the room during a wrestle off between those 2 at 174. It had to be close.

So you completely whiffed on Mo Endene rising in the rankings like he did (some like me told you different, you should have listened). Great job!
Gabe Arnold isn't sniffing a 197 match if Mo Endene doesn't leave for the money (which I'm sure you predicted too!

Gabe showed what college athletics is about. Get in where you can and go be the best version of yourself. Way to go Gabe this is really cool.
Happy for him that he was able to have some good things happen after doing a lot of battling and coming up just short a few times. Very gutsy.
Were you not also casting doubt on Gabeās abilities to make 174 at the same time?
Is there any backup on any other team who would move up TWO weight classes and AA? I don't think folks understand what a run that was.

From not liking the guy for calling out CStar to absolutely rooting for him. Im really, really happy for Arnold and what he accomplished.
Articles have said he was hospitalized...which probably means institutionalized...and that he was questioning his will to live. Coming back from that dark place is no small feat.

I'm not sure how it translated on video, but seeing the size difference in person, every match, was comical. What an amazing run. Warrior spirit.
