look toward the stands for a couple of secs JUST before the pitch is thrown? Really noticed it with the right-handed hitters. Just noticed it last night on TV view.
Are they getting signals or resetting their focus?

Anyone know?

They were visualizing the pitch in their mind. That first Candy pitcher was quick pitching and got away with it until he started getting hit hard.

Our hitters are a joy to watch. They have great plate discipline and a lot of our outs are great at bats or hard hit balls. And speaking of that, I’d lazily like to see some exit velocities rankings on hard hit ball percentages.
