I think if he focuses on other aspects of his game, the shooting will come.
He’s on other team’s defensive radars now. The Staff will need new schemes to get him better shots.

His first 5 shots today were WIDE OPEN. Hopefully he snaps out of it on Sunday

next year when he is our starting 2 guard, who will the fanbase blame when he is shooting 25% from three?
That’s damned good for a storm trooper.
And the problem is, he doesn’t do anything else very well.
Cutting, for starters. He’s being faceguarded. Simply make timely cuts and you can probably get free for a couple layups/dunks each game alone.
which is strange since he is a fan favorite by so many. dude consistently under performs.
They need to have him shooting something other than threes early. Anytime he can get a dunk, layup, midrange or FT early, he shoots better from 3
Should have him practicing getting a shot off with BG in his face xD I feel a breakout coming.

These kids are making a lot of money now too ya know, it's on them to do their job. His main job is to hit 3s and he's been really bad at it recently. It's okay to say so. It ain't all just Pope.

I disagree with that. I don't feel like he kills us when he's not hitting. He's still a pretty good defender, runs the floor well and makes our spacing on offense better. There's a world of difference between Colin and Jasper if they're both not hitting. I think what you're seeing is we can't be the best version of this Kentucky team, if he's not hitting.Thats 100% true.
Yup was getting ready to post the same thing. He’s a good passer and decent defender. When’s he’s not hitting he’s still not hurting us terribly like Noah or Jasper.
He's not a reliably good enough shooter to scheme for throughout a game. Maybe in spots after a timeout, of course.
Exactly ... he is definitely a good shooter, but not a great shooter.
No coach can "coach" the ball into the hole, especially when players are at the free-throw line.
Coaches design and teach offenses to get good shots, but it is up to the players to make them.
Coaches get too much credit and/or blame for their teams' performances. Having said that, great coaching is definitely a thing.
For the Cat's to advance, he needs to knock down those open shoots.
I think UK better have a dynamic ball-handling SF if Chandler is the starting 2G next season - and there's not currently one of those on the roster unless Oweh is considered the SF.
He had several good looks yesterday. They just weren’t falling.
Chandler will be under even more defensive scrutiny next year, if Kentucky does not have at least 1 or 2 primary shooter-scorers.

But honestly, for a guy as athletic as he is , he is TERRIBLE at finishing at the rim unless it’s just a complete breakaway. He is just unwilling to take it strong to the rim .
If you have to ask that, then maybe spend more time watching the games instead of thinking up new usernames.
He needs to work on that handle, and get more comfortable with penetrating, and expand that game. I'm sure next year, we will see big improvement. He needs to be Oweh next year.

We need CC and Moreno to have good games, not sure we can count on BG to keep doing BG things but Moreno needs to step it up. Having a 3rd and 4th scorers opens things up for DA and OO, they don’t have to have career games but they can’t be no shows or space cadets out there.
