I can’t imagine the intent was to play Martini at the 5. He ended up sliding there out of need. Ogbole wasn’t really ready still coming off that injury and Lathan would really hurt us on D. I imagine the original plan was for Ace to play his natural position at the 3. It was a dreadful mistake not so much because wolf was great at the time but because we found out Pike was managing playing time concerns from Lathan while shopping the portal for a center. If that was going to be a factor keeping Wolf (who Lathan already knew about coming in) was the simple, prudent solution. It was a silly mistake to make.
No doubt, Wolf ideally is a power 4, who has added an ability to step outside occasionally. He'd be a center on this team much more than Dortch is though.
Son is at Miami. They are so fun to watch - well coached. Play together as a team. It’s a fun time to be a Redhawk.

The Redhawks are making noise and Antwone's 10.2 ppg & 5.5rpg is part of the reason they're ranked #23 ( which I feel should be better than that)
Gotta figure Travis Steele is going to parlay this season into a return to a more major job.

We needed more big body paint protection. Low post scoring. I dont think another slim guard was the answer. My opinion.
As a high schooler he had D1 football offers - Cincinnati, BC, Akron, Marshall - but he wanted to play bball.

Happy for Woolfolk that he has the opportunity to play in a league where he can contribute and not be overmatched and even get to play in the NCAAs. His team had a terrific season but he is not big enough or physical enough to match up against the bigs at Tennessee or Big Ten teams.
Maybe the charade that Wolfolk and Miami of Ohio in general were very good were put to rest yesterday. Wolf had 3 points and 3 rebounds
They still deserved to be in the field over whichever fraudulent 14 loss power conference team you’d select over them
