Tough season for the young freshman and I know he didn’t get what he wanted but he showed a ton of grit. The future is bright and he will get healthy and be back for more next year.

Just got a Flo notification than Angelo MFF out of the consi semis. That's a bummer.
So he would have MFF out if he won the semi final last night? Team possibly winning a trophy doesn't matter to him? I get it he's hurt. But he was ok to wrestle for two days.

It depends on the injury and the risk of further damage. I'm not going to judge someone else's injury management but I will say it's probably a lot easier to risk injury with a championship on the line than grinding through the backside.
I’m sure he was wearing all that tape on shoulders because it looked cool. Hasn’t been right since the Welch match.
He didn’t look hurt in that semi final match. Reminds me of another Hawkeye a couple years ago.
When the going gets tuff, quitters gonna quit. I don't understand the mentality today. If he is legit hurt don't wrestle at all. Besides all the stupid tape which does zero for shoulders, he showed no lack of movement, no hint of discomfort and wrestled great. Spencer wrestled without knees for gods sake. Iowa deserves better.

Their injuries include: bruised ego, damaged pride, and reduce self esteem.
Do watch the matches? Go back and watch Rowley match he hurt his left shoulder. You can see it happen and also see him whisper to Tom on the way off the mat.

Just wanted to say, I'm sorry for your loss.
You honestly need help figuring this out? Guy is injured and needs surgery, but puts it off to wrestle for himself and the team, getting AA and team points, but wisely shutting it down.
It amazes me that people don’t get the difference between the two
If he hurt it against Rowley why did he continue to wrestle? It didn’t seem like he was favoring anything against Max.
For context on toughness, they had a stretcher on the mat to haul Heppner off yesterday. After a lengthy delay he strapped his head gear on and finished the match against Mitch M. Holding MM to his only decision win this year. Oh, and he continued to wrestle on the back side to a podium finish.
