I agree w/ Leinart, don't give in to some "pre-madonna**" that has proven absolutely nothing yet in college to indicate they may be worthy of the honor. Retiring numbers is stupid to me. There are only so many eligible numbers. Exactly. Do something to honor the player but the number is just a number.This is why schools shouldn't retire numbers. Give them a stadium honor, but stop retiring numbers. With saying that I wish we would have only retired Keffer's.
