Saw this on the twitter machine yesterday. Very interesting. But as a QB I can understand. Warren is dedicated to the run.

I don't follow this very closely anymore ,but based on the number of kids moving each year, it is pretty clear no one pays attention to the transfer rules anymore within the IHSA. After briefly looking at the IHSA handbook, I presume his family would have to move if he is going from public to private, correct? I don't have a problem with it, just wondering if it is even monitored anymore.

An attorney friend has a theory - the IHSA and most player-controlling associations are going to err on the side of the athlete because if they are found to be in the wrong, then liability equals damages, which can now be quantified with NIL. Those orgs would have to do a really deep dive into valuations as they see them, opening a new can of worms.

I don't think it is as complicated as most think.

I hate kids leaving the problem they’ve grown up in and not seeing it through till the end with their buddies from youth tackle ….but I get being a QB and being in an offense that doesn’t throw the ball and wanting to play college ball.

you do you….

If they felt that way about their buddies, I'm sure they wouldn't be leaving. Buddies come and go. Opportunities drive behavior.

Alec Pierce has done alright coming from a running offense
Would love to see what the Byron Qb could be in a spread.

Committed to UNC to play baseball and hang cleans 315.

but….he gets to hand the ball off every play 🫤

I think last year’s Naz QB was from PA. Two years in a row with an out of state QB? Sign of the times I guess.
Sadly. Gotta try and set themselves up for that NIL payday.

You would think they could develop a qb. Guess not anymore.
