And BYU loses in the 1st round as a 6 seed. If that doesn’t show we need to open up the checkbook for Stokes not sure what does!
iM sO tIrEd oF ThE InJuRy ExCuSeSThey lost their second best player in Saunders.
Yep. It would be like if we lost Oweh. We wouldn’t even be a tournament team. They lost their second best player in Saunders.
None of our injuries equate to Saunders.iM sO tIrEd oF ThE InJuRy ExCuSeS
Whatever stupid amount of money we spent locking down Oweh and Garrison would've been better spent on Dybansta.
Correct. Our injuries are much more severe. I’m assuming y’all didn’t care to look at Evan Miya’s chart that shows no one has performed even close to the level we have at our severity level with injuries. But it didn’t fit the narrative so it won’t be bothered with.None of our injuries equate to Saunders.
Nice try.Yep. It would be like if we lost Oweh. We wouldn’t even be a tournament team.

If $22 million earned a 14 loss season, I'm not sure that spending less is the way to go either.
Pope needs to get players who fit his system. Lowe is not a Pope system guy. Neither is Jasper, Mo D, Garrison, etc.
As for the AJ/BYU argument, AJ was really the only great player on the court for either team. He was worth the money. They just didn't have much of a team around him once Saunders went down.
I was told by many on here that injuries don't count. They lost their second best player in Saunders.
Says the leader of the "injuries don't matter" crew.Yep. It would be like if we lost Oweh. We wouldn’t even be a tournament team.
Saunders was more important to BYU than Lowe and Kam combined for us.I was told by many on here that injuries don't count.
I guess it depends on the freshman. Anthony Davis, yes. Stokes, no. I think Stokes is more in that $4 million range, but I'm sure some program would offer him more.I think spending 7 million for a freshman is dumb personally
We lost our starting point guard. Heck, he was our only pg.None of our injuries equate to Saunders.
I don't really count losing JQ. Dude was injured before he came here, and only played 5 games when he finally did heal.We lost our starting point guard. Heck, he was our only pg.
Jeez, JQ was a lottery pick, he was probably going to end up being our BEST player.
But also, I heard on here that Oweh sucks, so now that we're trying to make excuses for BYU, Oweh is great, because losing Saunders is as important as losing Oweh. So now, Oweh is good? Got it.
How does that prove anything, BYU had the number one player in the country coming out of high school and paid him well, yet they lost. And BYU loses in the 1st round as a 6 seed. If that doesn’t show we need to open up the checkbook for Stokes not sure what does!
Saunders was more important to BYU than Lowe and Kam combined for us.
JQ I won't even count.
The plan was for him to play the 2nd half the year, it is the very definition of a loss. He played 5 games, it's not like he didn't play at all.I don't really count losing JQ. Dude was injured before he came here, and only played 5 games when he finally did heal.
Lowe was a big loss. Probably cost us 3 wins this season.
I would rather put the money together for a buyout… but that’s meAnd BYU loses in the 1st round as a 6 seed. If that doesn’t show we need to open up the checkbook for Stokes not sure what does!
Lowe has never been a great guard throughout college. He may be a PG, but a ball hog at that. Kam was coming into his own before his injury.NPe.
And they lost 1 guy, we lost 3. Our lottery pick played, what, 2 games? Is Saunders a lottery pick?
The pg is the most important position on the floor, we had 1 and he's gone.
With our three guys fully healthy all year, we're a much better team.
I just knew we were giing to have people in here using the inury excuse and trying to justify it. Saunders isn't Michael freaking Jordan.
Look we need Stokes,if we don't get him, people will be going ,look another miss,If we get him ,we can still put people around himI guess it depends on the freshman. Anthony Davis, yes. Stokes, no. I think Stokes is more in that $4 million range, but I'm sure some program would offer him more.
We lost 3 of our top 8They lost their second best player in Saunders.

Spin baby SpinNone of our injuries equate to Saunders.
haha...again from the clown carWe lost 3 of our top 8
A bad defensive , bad shooting PG in Lowe, no sir, we were better with Aberdeen at PG once he got used to being the starting pg.We lost our starting point guard.
Got it.
2024/25 stats:Lowe has never been a great guard throughout college. He may be a PG, but a ball hog at that. Kam was coming into his own before his injury.
If JQ was a lottery pick, he certainly isn't now. It is a miracle he played at all. Still a waste of money.
