Jordan Frison entered the portal today and I think has some pretty good numbers, all across the board. He is listed at 6-0/170 and reminds me of how Tyler UIis played the game. Would you think it wise for Kentucky to be taking a look at him ?? He will be a Senior next season. He wants a shot at the bigtime.

Two of my main two criteria for a point in this area are quickness and shooting ability and he checks the box for shooting and, at his size, he better check the quickness box.
That's how I saw it, too. He may well not be 6-0 and has been overlooked because of his size, but it looks like he is quite a well-rounded player.
I tried to find recent UT-Chattanooga videos to share, but couldn't find them, but there sure are plenty of his high school highlight mixtape videos posted, dating back to his Freshman year. I don't know ... I saw he entered the portal, took a look at his stats for this year and was pretty impressed.
I know it was mid-level at UT-Chattanooga, but his numbers are pretty solid all across the board, He's looking for a chance to prove himself. I would imagine somebody will take a shot at him. Believe it nor not, you know who I can see really liking him >>> Rick Pitino. He has always had a fondness for smaller, play-making guards ... I guess they remind him of himself and his attitude of being the small guy with a lot to prove.
If Wan'Dale Robinson can do it on the football field in BIGS, maybe Jordan Frison can do it for the Cats ??

Just wait for Ebuka Okorie from Stanford option 1 6’2 190 quick great ball handler scores at all 3 levels and finishes at the rim if you can’t get him go get Segio de Larrea from Spain
YES, clearly you go after OKorie if you can get him, of course. The thing is ... every team in the country will want him ... but, will he choose us ??
He's from New Hampshire, so I'd imagine UConn and St. Johns will be hounding him, if he enters the portal.
Bottom Line: I'd love to have him in Blue & White
Per my research, de Larrea is a forward, not a point guard. Maybe he is a Point-Forward ??

With the way Mark Pope utilizes the point guard. I think you have to have a point guard that has some size. His point guard play off the ball way too much to be small. Denzel Aberdeen size with a more consistent shot and better court vision.

We’ve all seen how bad we struggled past 2 years with no elite PG or a true quality back up. Gotta come with a STRONG first offer for all ELITE guys. Plus UConn has Silas and ball right now

Pope probably needs a couple true PGs maybe 3 for the sake of depth and dudes getting tired.

Would love to have a Ulis type of guard. Also think Pope needs some Harrison twin size and length.

Hill, Jr. is particularly impressive, especially considering he doesn't start ... shades of Reed Sheppard.
One would wonder why doesn’t he start he’s not a strong defender about average imagine what he could do with a supporting cast

Kentucky is supposedly looking at an overseas PG. Believe his name is Ellis. Really good player, that does a little of everything. Not sure if it’s been posted or not.

Josh Hubbard at 6’00” 190lbs proves a “small” PG can play at a high level in today’s SEC.

No issue kicking the tires on Frison. Bet that Eww Tee and Memphis will at least talk to the Memphis kid!

Fart noise.

At only only 6', he better be able to jump out of the gym.
Having a short pg is cute sometimes, but at 6'0", he's a defensive liability and good luck scoring at the rim in the SEC.
No thanks.
Once again kyjeff1 is WRONG!!!

5'8 Tyler Ulis was SEC Defensive POY.
6'0 Tyler Tanner is maybe the best defensive guard in the SEC.

Can being short be a liability? Yes. Does it have to be? No.

At first glance I would take this guy, but as the backup PG.

You named 2, don't act like you just reeled off 50.

Those 2 are the extreme exception to the rule.

Here, I got another one for you… .Spud Webb.

Eyeroll.

Is he quick and can he shoot?
These small guards have hurt uk for years. Never had anyone to guard them.
The little guard from miss st is pretty tough
