Not like Cal didn’t have numerous opportunities his last couple years here of having a bracket fall apart. He never was able to take advantage of it.

They beat Ole Miss and Oklahoma by a combined 6 points total, that's how they won the SEC in the first place, scraping by bottom half teams. They are getting rewarded for playing nobody.
If we had taken care of business we could have been that 3 seed. We didn't.
They didn't take care of business either, 1 game separated us from a 4 seed and they lost to us at home. From the start of the SEC tournament all the way to the sweet 16 their path is Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Vandy, Hawaii and High Point. Not even 1 seeds get that path.
They'll throttle High Point then somehow beat Arizona. Just because the Basketball Gods hate us right now.
To be fair, all sec schedules are not created equal and we played a much more difficult conference schedule than they did.
High Point will give that team a run, exactly the mid major CCC doesn't wanna see

I do think this is probably Cals best team since 2019 UK potentially. Not saying a ton but Acuff is a genuine stud. Cal usually does solid when he has a legit stud freshmen.
I'd like to see Arkansas lose, but I'm not THAT invested in it.
We need to just focus on our team and not worry about Cal.

Why in the hell are you guys? So jealous of Arkansas? They did a favor by taking Cal, then we beat them this year at their place with a very average team. I could not care less about them or Cal. It appears that you guys now despise them as much as we despise Tennessee. They haven’t won anything since 1994. I think it’s Tennessee and Florida that are big rivals now and you might add Alabama to that. I say quit talking about him and leave him alone. Not really. Calipari got to combine UKs roster and recruits with Arkansas roster and recruits. Then he still had time to hit the portal. The move combined 2 rosters because he took everyone from UK with him. He was able to return Richmond, Knox, Wagner and Brazille to this team. He was able to return those guys because besides the tournament they stank most of the year barely making the field.

True. We did have the 2nd hardest sec schedule whereas Arkansas had the 13th so there’s that . But losses at home to Georgia,Mizzu, and at Auburn are inexcusable. We got what we deserved.
I actually think he’s better as a college player than any of them sans maybe Rose. But credit to Cal he has also evolved his offensive philosophies a bit the last few years and Acuff is benefitting from it.

The SEC seeding is based off of conference schedule which Kentucky had a much harder schedule (and just barely missed out on a 4 seed) the conference seeding then allowed Arkansas to have a very easy schedule to the championship, winning that also helped their NCAA seed, which was also helped by their easier conf. schedule which gave them again very easy opponents in the NCAA tourny. It's A->B->C logic.
