Forrest's single leg defense is super elite. He not only has a rubber knee, but he is long enough to patiently work towards a cradle. You have to get that leg up in the air and work to your feet quickly or simply back right out of that position.

He is REALLY good! 133 is such a meat grinder, but he is definitely a candidate to match Cael's 4 for 4 without a loss....

Thanks. I assumed he would have drawn a 2nd stall in there and then ridden out. Would have preferred he at least have tried vs idly riding.

Then he should transfer to Iowa so we can win a national f***ing championship.

He had to work pretty damn hard to get those 3 takedowns in over 5:00's. I am sure they though the odds were better to turn him. On top of that, you can lose the MD giving up the escape and giving up a takedown chasing the TF too hard. It's a LOT of work chasing .5 points for a TF when you have an entire period to work on top and get a full point going for the FALL...

Do you really want me to answer that? Take your time and do the math in that sequence....even if you start it at 11-1 instead of 10-1.....

11-1, escape, 11-2, takedown, 14-2, escape, 14-3, takedown, 17-3, escape 17-4, takedown, 20-4....

For everyone being positive, here’s how Iowa’s tournament usually goes since the last title. Undefeated or maybe one loss in the first session, giving false hope when 8 or 9 guys win. Things start to go south on Thursday night in session 2 and by session 3 on Friday morning, it won’t be pleasant on here. Hope I’m wrong!

You are looking SO DAMN HARD to complain about something that all logic and reason goes out the window. It took him over 5 minutes to get 3 takedowns. He would have needed 3 more in roughly 1/3 that amount of time.

If he would have let him up and given up a takedown chasing the TF too aggressively, you would have gone crazy....

It is only “false hope” to those who don’t understand tournament brackets and scoring. Of which, we seem to have a lot of.
