This right here, they need to donate annually to our NIL programshouldn’t we require them to make a substantial annual investment into Nebraska’s NIL program? It would be pocket change for them to buy us all the top-tier talent we could ever need.
Answered my question of power generation. Natural gas is at least better than coal. Interesting that they will operate it. Makes perfect sense, though. This would be one of the largest such facilities in the country. The estimated power demand would be double that of the entire city of Lincoln. They are looking into building their own natural gas-powered power plant that would be the largest in the state. The scale of the project is mind-blowing.
That said, I am wondering where will they get the water needed for such an operation? And shouldn’t we require them to make a substantial annual investment into Nebraska’s NIL program? It would be pocket change for them to buy us all the top-tier talent we could ever need.

If they are building their own power plant why would the locals pay higher utility prices?Cliff Notes

Isn't Google donating money to the university? A one time $250,000 donation strictly for A.I. research. Gee thanks Google. That is roughly the same as you or I donating a ******* dollar. This would be one of the largest such facilities in the country. There's a reason why they don't put these things in the desert. As Nebraskans, we need to understand ain't no political issue. Lots of examples. Pillen needs to wake up! And don't believe one second that having this **** in our state will be more of a benefit than a curse. Plenty of examples in other states-- Nebraska will not be any different. It’s my fear.

Isn't water cooling normally circulated contained systems? Just wondering. Don't know about this stuff.Cooling
It is. Aren't farmers that farm in areas that shouldn't, draining it at a rate well exceeding replacement already? It’s my fear.
